ZANU-PF Minister Campaigns Through Sport

Ahead of the 2023 harmonized elections political parties are getting ready for the race to victory and have started campaigning in different parts of the country.

A Zanu-PF deputy minister has donated sporting equipment to his constituency.

The Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports ,Arts and Recreation and Member of Parliament for Wedza South Constituency Hon. Tinoda Machakaire held a sports tournament on Monday in his constituency.

The sports tournament is a brainchild of the Deputy Minister controls through a foundation he calls the Tinmac Foundation Sports Tournament.

This tournament was set up to motivate youths to participate in sporting activities as well as encourage the youths to register to vote for the liberation war Party.

Machakaire said “The sports tournament also was a way of mobilising youths conscietising them on the need to vote for ZANU PF in the forthcoming 2023 harmonized elections.”

Youths were encouraged to get into farming in order to help the growth of the economy through the Small to Medium Enterprises.

“Youths are encouraged to register to vote as we approach 2023 harmonized elections,” Machikaire added.

Machikaire also donated wheelbarrows, bicycles and other farming tools on behalf of ZANU PF.

The event was graced by the ZANU PF National Chairperson who is also the Minister of Defence and War Veterans Affairs Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri who appeared as the guest of honor alongside the Minister of Industry and Commerce Hon. Sekai Nzenza
