Cassper Nyovest has proved his philanthropy by sending a fellow South African to Harvad.
The South African Hip Hop artist showed his soft nature towards a Student who passed the country’s Matric exams with flying colours.
Refiloe Phoolo best known by his stage name as Cassper Nyovest has pledged to send the student who passed with 8 distinctions to one of the best University in the world.
Nyovest is a 31- year old South African rapper, songwriter, record label owner (Family Tree) who shot to prominency in 2014 after the hit song Doc Shebeleza became an anthem in the whole of Africa.
Nyovest’s rivalry with AKA (Kiernan Forbes), another famous rapper in South Africa has put the two in the spotlight making them one of the best rappers in Mzansi.
One’s past does not define the future of the person. Nyovest widely mocked for having failed his Matric exams has not been deterred into extending the much needed financial assistance.
The R3 000 000 is donated towards study fees and accommodation of the child who is said to have stayed at a church after his parents died.
Cassper has exclaimed that he will do anything in his power towards helping the less fortunate as he also knows how it is to struggle as he too comes from humble beginnings.
This is also not the first time Casper has donated towards education, in 2017 he donated R100 000 rands sending another child to university.
In South Africa it seems those privileged have taken it upon themselves to assist other less fortunate country men by furthering their education.
Celebrities in the likes of Nomzamo Mbatha, AKA, Lasizwe Dambuza, Bonang Matheba have been helping a lot of people by sending them to further their studies at Universities.
