In a bold move, Holy Ten has postponed the release of his highly anticipated album, “Proud Father”, initially scheduled for yesterday.
The rapper emphasized that the delay is crucial to ensure his latest work meets his lofty standards.
“I was supposed to release the album today, but I recognized that I missed a lot of details surrounding the drop,” Holy Ten revealed to H-Metro.
“While I know the music is solid, I neglected to market it effectively in the lead-up to the release.”
Holy Ten acknowledged overlooking essential promotional elements, including revealing the tracklist and participating in promotional interviews.
“I ignored the artistic side of promotion. Only a few people were aware of the drop, and I want to avoid a situation where great music goes unnoticed,” he explained.
Despite facing competition from fellow rapper Saintfloew, who releases his album this Saturday, Holy Ten remains committed to his decision.
“I have delayed the release for two weeks to ensure proper marketing… I have faith in the project and want to connect with the media and fans to make sure quality music doesn’t get overshadowed by poor marketing.”
Key Highlights:
- Two-week delay to focus on marketing and promotion
- Features Michael Magz, with other collaborations remaining a mystery
- “Proud Father” promises to be Holy Ten’s best work yet
- Artist prioritizes quality over meeting original release date.
Holy Ten assured fans that “Proud Father” will not be a street album and that he’s taking necessary steps to ensure its success.
“Honestly, I have never done music as good as what’s on this new project. Trust me, it’s solid,” he concluded.
