ZUJ MOURNS RUPENDE

The Zimbabwe union of Journalists (ZUJ) has joined the rest of the media fraternity in mourning the passing of ZBC news Midlands camera person Tinashe Rupende.

ZUJ described Rupende’s passing as a very sad day for Zimbabwean journalism and a loss to the industry

Rupende (38) died at Gweru General Hospital on Monday the 6th if February after a long battle with kidney complications. He is survived by his wife Primrose Mashegede and two daughters.

Tinashe joined the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation (ZBC) in 2008. He joined as a Junior Camera person and over the years he was then promoted to position of Senior Camera person based in the Midlands capital Gweru.
