BULAWAYO – Ingutsheni Psychiatric Hospital has received a significant boost with a donation of groceries valued at US$7,500 from the Daughters of Virtue (DOV) prayer ministry, led by Prophetess Memory Matimbire.

The handover, which took place on Saturday, is part of the interdenominational ministry’s broader outreach initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening the healthcare sector.

Speaking at the event, DOV Vice President Pastor Blessed Marara emphasized the ministry’s commitment to translating faith into tangible action.

“This donation reflects our organization’s commitment to uplifting lives through both faith and action,” stated Pastor Marara.

“We are called not only to pray for our communities but to actively support them, especially our vital institutions like Ingutsheni that care for the most vulnerable.”

The donation is expected to provide critical support to the patients and staff at the country’s largest psychiatric hospital, highlighting the growing role of faith-based organizations in addressing social needs.
