“Isifungo The Oath,” has been released, painting a stark and troubling picture of how illegal drugs are infiltrating schools and corrupting the youth.

The preview opens with a businessman selling shisha to a customer, promising a good weekend. When the customer returns for more, the businessman reveals his true trade. He pitches a more lucrative and dangerous business idea: selling drugs to students.

This business will make you grow, the businessman assured his new recruit after receiving a $5,000 payment. He offered a word of sinister advice,
“When you get money, don’t show off. Live a simple life. As you can see, I make a lot of money but I lay low, as I use a Honda Fit car.”

This poison soon reaches the halls of a local high school, where a student named Nduna is peer-pressured into using drugs by his friends. His behavior changes drastically, culminating in him inappropriately flirting with a teacher. This incident prompts the staff to report him to the headmaster, revealing a much larger problem.

The headmaster calls an urgent meeting with parents, revealing the severity of the crisis.
“We called you here because the school is facing problems that may lead to the closure of this school,” the headmaster announced.
“We have been finding bottles of beer, meaning students are doing drugs.”

A pastor in attendance expressed the community’s outrage, stating,
“The things that these kids are doing now are very disgusting, and we must bring these perpetrators to justice.”

Officer Thulisimpi appealed to parents for vigilance, urging,
“If you see your child changing behavior, please report it.”

Unbeknownst to the students, the law was already closing in. The movie concludes with a dramatic scene at a party where Nduna and his friends are celebrating. Undercover detectives are mingling with the crowd, gathering crucial evidence. As the students become intoxicated, they freely give out incriminating information, all captured on camera by the officers.
