‎The Zimbabwe national team, the Warriors, have started arriving in Abidjan as preparations intensify for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.

‎A group of key players, Godknows Murwira, Walter Musona, Martin Mapisa, Emmanuel Jalai, and Terrence Dzvukamanja, travelled overnight and are now in camp, joined by technical staff.

‎The remainder of the squad is expected soon, with Knowledge Musona and several South Africa-based players set to land in Abidjan tomorrow afternoon.

‎There is been one change to the initial squad: Tymon Machope has been called up to replace Jonah Fabisch, who was ruled out after failing a concussion clearance test following an injury last week.

‎The Warriors are determined to put on a strong performance as they aim to keep their World Cup qualification hopes alive in what promises to be a tough Group C contest.

‎With the squad steadily assembling and spirits high, all eyes are now on the Warriors to deliver when it matters most.

‎As they gear up for this vital clash against Benin, the team carries the hopes of a nation eager to see them rise to the occasion and take a big step forward in their World Cup qualification campaign.
