JOHANNESBURG – The body of former Warriors and Orlando Pirates striker, Edward Ndoro, has been taken for forensic analysis in South Africa as his family seeks to determine the cause of his sudden death.
Ndoro, 40, was found deceased in his Sandton apartment on Monday, with reports indicating his remains were discovered several days after he passed away. The ex-footballer, who also played for Chicken Inn, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Ajax Cape Town, and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Faisaly, was alone at the time of his death.
His father, Silas Mukundwa, confirmed the development on Tuesday.
“Yes, it’s true, his body was taken for post-mortem on Tuesday,” he said.
The exact circumstances surrounding Ndoro’s death remain unclear. His family has yet to announce burial arrangements, though he is expected to be laid to rest in Zimbabwe.
