Former Warriors defender Charles Yohane has died.
He was 48.
He was shot dead in South Africa by armed carjackers. A family member confirmed Yohane’s death. The family member is set to travel to South Africa on Wednesday.
Yohane played for Fire Batteries in Zimbabwe before moving to the neighbouring country, South Africa.
In South Africa Yohane played for AmaZulu, African Wanderers, Bidvest Wits and AK FC.
Yohane had 23 caps with the Zimbabwe national team.
He was part of the 2004 AFCON Zimbabwe squad as well as the team that qualified for the 2006 AFCON. More details are to follow.
