Sakunda Holdings has issued a public warning about the growing number of fraudulent social media accounts falsely posing as businessman Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, advising the public to avoid interacting with such platforms.

According to the company, Tagwirei does not currently maintain any presence on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. The statement emphasized:

“We wish to alert the public that Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei is not on any social media platforms at this time. He does not own, operate or control any accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or any other platform.”

Sakunda stressed that all pages claiming to represent him are illegitimate and being used to mislead people or defraud them.

“Any accounts or pages claiming to be him, or claiming to speak on his behalf, are entirely fake. These pages are being used to spread false information and, in some cases, scam people out of their money. We strongly warn the public not to engage with or trust any of these accounts.”

The company also revealed that official social media accounts are currently being developed and will soon be launched across the major platforms.

” Tagwirei is currently in the process of setting up his official social media accounts, which will soon be launched on X, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Once they are ready, we will make an official announcement through trusted channels.”

In the meantime, Sakunda urged the public to report any impersonating accounts to relevant platforms.

“In the meantime, if you come across any pages pretending to be Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei, please report immediately to the respective platforms for impersonation and fraud. Let us work together to stop the spread of misinformation and scams.”
