A Zimbabwean born Muslim has over 8 million followers on a social media platform, yet he follows one person.
A motivational speaker and orator of the Muslim religion has a Twitter account with 8 million followers but on the contrary and surprise of many, he only follows one person, the Zimbabwean President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.
Twitter is defined as a microblogging and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as Tweets.
Its primary source is to allow people to share their thoughts with a big audience.
In the app there are followers and there is following. Followers are those people who have chosen to receive (your) tweets and like them or respond to them, the followers can even pass on your tweets (messages) to others as well. These followers are shown on your Twitter Account. Thus, if you can be followed, you too can choose to follow others as well.
The motivational speaker, surprisingly, has chosen to follow President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the current leader of Zimbabwe, whose citizens are of the opinion that he is not leading the country in the best way as possible. This is evidenced by the serious series of corruption, poverty, inflation, unemployment, high rate of crime by armed forces which are prevalent in Zimbabwe.

What inspired Mufti Menk to follow President Mnngagwa is unknown, but this has left many alike wondering why?
Efforts to get an explanation as to why he chose to follow only one person, particularly ED Mnangagwa were fruitless.
Mufti Menk had over 2.6 million subscribers on another social media platform, YouTube channel.
