Nushel Kareko, a talented 15-year-old model from Harare, has received an exciting invitation to participate in the Crown Dominators pageant in Gaborone, Botswana, scheduled for December 6-8.
This event marks the second edition of the pageant, which aims to empower young models and promote values such as self-empowerment, cultural exchange, and entrepreneurship.
Nushel, who began her modeling journey at the age of 13, has already made a name for herself by participating in nine pageants while balancing her studies at Red Cross Independence College. She is the reigning Miss Africa Gem, a title she views as a significant achievement that reflects the pageant’s emphasis on beauty, intelligence, and cultural representation.
Nushel credits her family for their unwavering support, which has been crucial in managing her dual commitments to education and modeling.
While many of her peers may pursue traditional career paths, Nushel is determined to carve out a successful modeling career. She aspires to represent Miss World within the next five years. However, she acknowledges that securing sponsorship remains a primary challenge in achieving her goals.
The Crown Dominators pageant not only seeks to uplift young girls in the region but also reflects a growing acceptance among parents who are increasingly encouraging their daughters to engage in pageantry. Nushel’s participation is seen as a step towards inspiring other young women to pursue their dreams in modeling and beyond.
Nushel Kareko’s invitation to the Crown Dominators pageant is a testament to her talent and dedication. As she prepares for this exciting opportunity, she embodies the spirit of empowerment and ambition that the pageant seeks to promote among young models in the region.
