Man Dies After Being Pushed Out of Thighvendor House

A tragic incident in Chivi has resulted in the death of Christopher Tsuro, a 59-year-old man, following a dispute over a payment for companionship services. The event occurred on October 14, 2024, involving a confrontation with Jenipher Gandiwa, a 48-year-old woman he had hired.

Details of the Dispute

According to police reports from Masvingo Province, Tsuro paid Gandiwa US$3 for her services but became dissatisfied when he was unable to have an intimate experience as planned. After expressing his dissatisfaction, Tsuro requested a refund, which Gandiwa provided. However, he insisted on staying, leading to a physical confrontation between the two.

During the struggle, Gandiwa allegedly pushed Tsuro outside, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground. She left him there and returned later to find that he had died.

Investigation and Arrest

Upon discovering Tsuro’s body, which showed signs of a head injury, the police were notified. Gandiwa was subsequently arrested and is now facing charges of murder. Tsuro’s body has been taken to the Masvingo Provincial Hospital Mortuary for further investigation.

This incident underscores the potential dangers associated with disputes over financial transactions in intimate contexts, highlighting the need for caution and awareness in such situations.
