Dynamos FC, the reigning champions, have been paired with Yadah FC in the quarterfinals of the Chibuku Super Cup, following a draw held in Harare.
As stated by the Premier Soccer League, “The first four teams drawn will be at home,” with Dynamos being one of them.
The quarterfinal matchups are as follows:
- Dynamos FC vs. Yadah FC
- Manica Diamonds vs. FC Platinum
- Simba Bhora vs. Highlanders
- Ngezi Platinum Stars vs. CAPS United
The Premier Soccer League will announce the dates and venues for the games on Monday next week.
“We are ready for the challenge,” said a Dynamos FC official. “We will do our best to defend our title.”
Yadah FC coach, Genesis Mangombe, commented, “We are looking forward to the game. It will be a tough match, but we are prepared.”
