In a world where romance and courtship seem to have taken a backseat to the wild and absurd, one man from Kadoma, Tolrose Compound has managed to lower the bar for wooing a wayward partner to unfathomable depths.

Rather than to embark on the time honoured traditions of courting a potential mate, Edward Chitivha (28) instead decided to take his sexual desires to the barnyard, allegedly violating a goat in a scene that would put even the raunchiest of farmhouse fantasies to shame.

As if dating apps weren’t already enough of a minefield, it seems that the accused person, Chitivha decided to forgo the perils of swiping right for the woefully misguided notion that a goat in heat was the way to go.

Forget “Netflix and chill” or a romantic dinner for two, this Kadoma Casanova opted for “Tie and Cry,” turning what should have been a peaceful night on the farm into an unspeakable act of bestiality.

According to court records, Chitivha who has appeared in Court for bestiality charges, allegedly broke into a goat pen in the dead of night, tying up and sexually assaulting one of the goats.

The commotion caused by the animal’s cries alerted the owner of the goats, Isheunesu Shangudze, the complainant, who found Chitivha in the act and frightened him away, leaving behind his clothes.

In what could have been the script for a very strange episode of “When Animals Attack,” Isheunesu Shangudze, a 40-year-old Kadoma resident and apparently quite the goat enthusiast, rounded up his five trusty goats on August 12, 2024 and tucked them away safely in their pen for the night at around 4pm, plot 9 Blagdon Farm Eiffel flats.

Little did he know that a would-be wooer was lurking in the shadows, plotting a different kind of “playdate” with one of his goats.

Late in the evening, Chitivha allegedly trespassed into the goat pen belonging to Shangudze. Then, in a move that could make even the most seasoned zookeeper recoil, he removed his clothes and tied a female goat’s legs to a pole before engaging in bestiality with the animal.

Shangudze, who was asleep in his house at the time, was awoken by the cries of the goat and went outside to investigate.

Upon arrival, he discovered Chitivha in the act that could only be described as the “Goat Gone Wild” video no one ever asked for.

The accused person then fled the scene, leaving his clothes behind.

A police report was made, leading to the arrest of the accused person.

During appearance in Court, the accused person was remanded in custody to the 17th of September 2024 for the continuation of the trial.
