Elusive Mo Salah Hints at Potential Liverpool Departure

Mo Salah has sparked speculation about his future at Liverpool, suggesting that this season may be his last at the club. Following his impressive performance in the 3-0 win over Manchester United, Salah stated,

“This season is my last year at the club… nobody has talked to me about a new contract.”

Salah’s contract is set to expire next summer, and he seems to be treating this season as his last.

“I feel free to play football, and we’ll see what happens next year,” he said.

However, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher expressed doubt about Salah leaving, saying, “I would be very surprised if Salah isn’t playing for Liverpool next season.”

Liverpool manager Arne Slot also expressed his desire to keep Salah, saying,

“It’s a lot of ‘if.’ Right now, he is one of ours, and I’m really happy about that. I won’t discuss contracts, but I could talk for hours about how well Mo played today.”

The Egyptian King, as Salah is known to the multitudes of Liverpool fan’s comments have left many wondering about his future, but for now, he remains focused on the season ahead. “I just want to enjoy it and not overthink it,” he said.
