Born into humble beginnings, Freeman discovered his passion for boxing at a young age, honing his skills in local gyms and under the guidance of seasoned mentors. He is currently under the stable of Otto Boxing Club in Harare.

Asked about his toughest match ever Freeman said,
“The most challenging fight was against Farai Makombe 10 years ago at the National Youth Games in 2014 he had knocked me down 3 months before the national youth games. I didn’t go and rest because l knew I had to be prepared. We went to the final and beat him by unanimous decision.”
Beyond the ring, Freeman is revered not only for his athletic prowess but also for his unwavering sportsmanship and dedication to inspiring the next generation of aspiring boxers.
“I think l am stuck in boxing and my life is just boxing when they call me we talk about boxing, all my friends are into boxing so my personal life is that one minute break between boxing rounds”
