Bulawayo Chiefs Football Club will travel to Mutare without their head coach to face an unpredictable army side, Black Rhinos.

The Ninjas coach, Nilton Terosso, will not be on the dug out as he travelled to his home country, Portugal, to attended to ‘personal issues’.

Chiefs will face Black Rhinos FC at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare this Saturday , assistant coaches Mark Mathe and Farai Tawachera will be in charge of the ‘tricky’ fixture away from home.

Regardless of playing without the head coach, Chiefs approach of winning matches remains the same, in a press conference held on Thursday assistant coach Tawachera spoke on winning matches.

“It’s all the same in terms of approach. We train every day; we want to win and meet the objectives of the club.

“It’s not a secret we haven’t been doing well of late, and we are not happy with it,” said Tawachera.

Ninjas will play without the veteran striker Perfect Chikwende who was sent off by the referee in Kariba last weekend when they held to a goalless draw against ZPC Kariba.

However the club’s hopes are high since there is a boost to beef up their starting lineup, Obriel Chirinda is back in the team after he has successfully served his red card which he was shown against DeMbare at Barbourfields stadium two weeks ago.

“The return of Obriel is a very big boost, considering we haven’t been scoring many goals of late. He is our top striker; he is working hard and his presence has increased morale in the camp.

“We all know what he can do.” Tawachera added.

Bulawayo Chiefs FC last won a match against defending champions Zvishavane side FC Platinum on valentine’s eve, since then they have played 5 matches attaining two points from two draws and three defeats.

Are we going to see the ‘Chirinda -Effect’ on Saturday or it will be yet another draw for the Ninjas?

This is high time the two assistants Mathe and Tawachera prove themselves to the fans that they can win games and they deserve to be on that bench working hand in glove with the Portuguese coach Terosso.
