Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (ZPSL), Bulawayo side Chicken Inn Football Club continues with their winning streak in a race for the championship.
Gamecocks dehorned Black Rhinos FC in a match played on Saturday at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo.
The Gamecocks won by 2-1.
Brian Muza and Xolani Ndlovu were on target for Chicken Inn FC, the two goals sealed victory as the Gamecocks collected 3 points.
Meanwhile Ngezi Platinum Stars FC beat fellow mining side FC Platinum by 1-0 on a Saturday afternoon at Mandava Stadium in the mining town of Zvishavane.
There were not so much highlights in the first half but four minutes from the half time break McDonald Makuwe’s target put Ngezi Platinum Stars FC in the lead.
Makuwe capitalised from a blunder committed by the opposition side player, Rainsome Pavari and the only goal if the game sealed victory for the visitors and they bagged 3 points from the defending champions Zvishavane side, FC Platinum.
In the capital, Harare giants Dynamos victorious against ZPC Kariba with a clean sheet.
Glamour Boys won comfortably by 2-0 at the giant National Sports Stadium.
Emmanuel Paga gave DeMbare an early lead within 8 minutes after the kick off whistle Glamour Boys were in the lead. Paga converted from the penalty spot after a handball in the eighteen area. Paga has scored 3 goals from 3 matches.
Prince Edward High School youngster Bill Antonio’s goal gave DeMbare a comfortable victory.
The ball movement started from Godknows Murwira passing to Tinashe Makanda who beat the Katuruturu goalkeeper before he layed the ball to Antonio who finished with brilliance.
