The young Zimbabwean motocross rider Emmanuel Bako is once again under the spotlight as he readies to take part in the Round two of Three of eight rounds of South African Motocross Championship 2023.
The series will be held this weekend at Zone 7 Park, Capetown South Africa.
Bako, a sixteen year old student St John’s College in Harare is one of the most talented young motocross riders in Zimbabwe and he has been competing all over the world.
The young rider is going to compete in a historical double header of the National Championship which will take place Saturday and Sunday.
Bako will be looking to add another gold in his trophy shelf as he is the current Zimbabwe 125cc Class champion.
Emmanuel is set to keep up with his current momentum as he finished second in the warm up for SA National in the 125cc High School Class during the regional event at Harrismith in South Africa on March 18.
During the event, Bako went head to head against some of the best senior dirt bike racers in South Africa but he never showed no ghost of inferior complex which left a number of people surprised and predicted he will be the rider to beat coming South Africa National Championship.
“I think my son is in good shape and he cannot just wait to be on the track racing, in which once again will be showing his skill,” said Brighton “Bucks” Bako, father and manager of Emmanuel Bako.
“Emmanuel aims to be on the podium once again heading to this weekend,”added Brighton Bako.
Bako also said his son is a very competitive person as he really enjoys winning but for that to happen, he has to work very hard for it as it will not come or handed to him in a silver platter.
