“I’m very happy that I made it to the national team. It was always my dream to represent my country. I want to thank my teachers for the support and also seeking (for) help for my trip to Malawi,” added Nyamulepa.
Nyamulepa took the gift of athletics from none other that her mother, Halen Mlumbe, who used to be an athlete back in the days.
“I loved sports, and I used to run at secondary level. I am happy my daughter is doing well,” said Halen Mlumbe.
Mlumbe also said she is very proud that her daughter is running in her strides and she also wishes her to take up from where she left in the world of sports.
“She is now representing her country and I pray that she gets a better school where she can get exposure. I want her to do great and be like me as she is also good in different sports,” said Halen Mlumbe.
Nyamulepa’s mother also wished her daughter to be recognized by better schools so as to get exposure.
