Passengers in a commuter omnibus bound for Cowdray Park were left with jaws hanging after the supposed conductor and driver were touchy touchy all the way from town up until Emagetsini.
The Kombi had collected passengers at 6 avenue. Instead of the conductor being at his place by the door, the conductor was seated at the front with the driver with his leg on the dashboard.
The allegedly conductor did not even bother collecting bus fare as he had occupied the front seat with his lover, busy feeding each other fast foods and maize cobs.
The driver of the Kombis was also reckless and several times he almost veered off the road. A few minutes later, one passenger had to disembark at eNtumbane and upon producing Zim dollars on his way out, the conductor lashed at him and refused to take the bus fare.
A few minutes later, another passenger went home without having paid as the conductor refused to collect the Zim dollars she had.
The rest of the passengers were transferred to another Kombi as the lovers said they could not go any further.
“Banjalo labo hant sisebenza labo nsuku zonke”, said the conductor of the Kombi which the passengers were transferred to upon being asked by shocked and concerned passengers.
Passengers were heard saying:
“Kodwa yikudelela sibili lokhu, bengenza into enje phambili kwethu sibili hayy hayy.
Another passenger said that she is used to such behavior as she works at a hopsital along Khami road which caters for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community.
Upon asking Doctor Elton Sengurayi on wether a person being bisexual, gay, lesbian etc has anything to do with hormonal imbalance. The doctor had this to say:
” It’s many things. How someone is socially raised, genetics etc. But most causes are beyond our current knowledge.
He added:
DNA is the tinniest building block of an creature. It’s like the soil in a farm. It controls everything on our body systems like the binary system in a computer.
Genetics is all about how DNA is arranged.”
