Recently there has been a lot of groups for so called Economic Development (ED).
These groups includes Young women for ED, Youths for ED, Ama2k for ED amongst other groups.
Youths 4ED together with the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development gathered at AREX to see how they can help the youth in Bulawayo Metropolitan Province and Matebeleland to be able to add value in the economic sector.
However, upon being asked how they are communicating with the youths out there who have no idea of such a program, the spokesperson for the Youths 4ED, National Secretary for Youth Affairs Farmers for Economic Development Silent Mukonde had this to say:
” We have leaders in different wards where these Youths will be incorporated and they should join the program in order to have something tangible.”
Is this not a campaign strategy for ZANUPF? One may ask.
Upon being asked, the information secretary Addington Mpofu clearly mentioned that he is not the one who formed these Economic Development groups and but he’s looking forward to their prosperous and continuation.
“I’m looking foward to seeing them do more programs as we go into the new year.”
This publication however, could not get any information on how they are making more youths get the information.
