ITEL has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the new itel City 200. Designed for the modern, budget-conscious user, the device is making its debut in local markets, with an expected rollout across other regions in the near future.
The City 200 sets itself apart by blending a premium, ultra-slim design with robust durability and a range of smart AI-driven features.
The itel City 200 immediately catches the eye with its sleek profile. The smartphone boasts a 7.45mm slim unibody design with a metallic finish, making it both lightweight and comfortable to hold.
However, the City 200 is not just about looks. It is built to withstand the rigors of daily life, featuring an IP65 splash protection rating which shields it from dust and low-pressure water jets.
Multimedia consumption on the itel City 200 is handled by a large 6.78-inch punch hole display. The screen offers a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring fluid scrolling and responsive touch for gaming and social media.
“With a peak brightness of 700 nits, the display remains easily viewable even under direct sunlight”.
Powering the device is a substantial 5200mAh battery, which itel claims can maintain its performance for up to 1,600 charge cycles, equivalent to about four years of normal use. When it is time to recharge, the included 18W fast charging support gets users back up and running quickly.
“The itel City 200 has advanced picture quality as well as a long-lasting battery life,” said an itel mobile technician who preferred anonymity.
The itel City 200 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor and runs on the latest Android 15 operating system out of the box. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and offers various RAM configurations, including models with 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
For users needing extra multitasking power, the phone also supports virtual RAM expansion. Itel is so confident in its performance that it offers a four-year fluency guarantee, assuring smooth operation over the long term.
In terms of photography, the device features a 50MP main camera on the rear for capturing detailed shots, accompanied by an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
With its combination of a durable yet slim design, a high-refresh-rate display, and a massive battery, the itel City 200 is poised to be a compelling option for young users seeking premium features at an accessible price point.
