HARARE – Zimbabwe Cricket has named a strong 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, with the return of key players bolstering the team’s prospects for the tournament co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

The selection is headlined by the recall of pace spearhead Blessing Muzarabani, who returns to the fold following a full recovery from injury. His comeback provides a major boost to the Chevrons’ bowling attack, where he is expected to form a potent new-ball partnership with left-arm seamer Richard Ngarava.

The pace unit is further reinforced by the inclusion of Bradley Evans and Tinotenda Maposa, adding depth and all-round options to the squad.

In a significant move, former captain Graeme Cremer has been recalled to international duty after a seven-year absence.

The experienced leg-spinner’s return strengthens the spin department for conditions expected in the subcontinent, where he will combine with Wellington Masakadza.

The batting lineup blends experience with exciting new talent. Seasoned campaigner Brendan Taylor provides a steadying presence, while rising star Brian Bennett is among the young players expected to play key roles.

The squad selection reflects a strategic balance between proven performers and emerging talent, as the Chevrons aim to make a competitive impact on the global stage.
