Scottland FC have etched their name into Zimbabwean football history after being crowned the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions, following a commanding 5–1 victory over Kwekwe United at Ascot Stadium on Matchday 32.
The emphatic win lifted them to an unassailable 65 points, seven ahead of their nearest rivals with just two games to go, sealing the championship in their debut top-flight season.
It’s a stunning achievement, with Scottland becoming only the second club since Zimbabwe’s Independence to win the league in their first season, following Black Rhinos’ triumph in 1985.
From the opening week, Scottland FC delivered a fearless brand of football, blending quick transitions, high pressing, and clinical finishing that left seasoned PSL sides struggling to cope. Their journey wasn’t just about results; it was about belief, ambition, and rewriting the script.
Under the guidance of head coach Tonderai Ndiraya, the team maintained consistency, discipline, and unity throughout the campaign.
