BULAWAYO, – From the vibrant creative heart of Bulawayo emerges Ryan ‘Dalubuhle’ Nyoni, a multi-talented actor and poet who has rapidly become a recognized force of energy and dedication on stage and screen.
Ryan Dalubuhle Nyoni, the 19-year-old actor, poet, and dancer known professionally as Dalubuhle, is not just living up to his name, he is redefining it through powerful performances on stage and screen.

Dalubuhle’s journey into the performing arts began in 2019 with a passion for dance and drama. That passion quickly crystallized into purpose, leading him to found and lead the creative dance group, The International Movement. But it was in 2021 that he discovered his true calling.

“I fell in love with acting and I never looked back,” Dalubuhle states, reflecting on the pivotal moment that set his career alight.”
“I believe that it’s inside me that I am an actor because within a short period of time, experience says it all.”

That experience came fast and furious. After honing his skills in the Lit Performance Workshops with the Center for Talent Development (CTD), 2022 became a year of explosion. He immersed himself in the world of theatre, landing roles with acclaimed groups like Umkhathi Theatre Works.

His journey is a testament to his philosophy. He didn’t just wait for opportunities; he engaged with them fully, representing himself with so much confidence and dedication. This drive has seen him feature in impactful projects, including short films with Amplifying Girl Voices TV and a standout role as Wayne in the Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo production, Iph’ikusasa.

Beyond acting, Dalubuhle is a multi-skilled artist, a poet who goes by the name Imbong’edal’okuhle, and a practitioner of multiple performance art forms.
He describes himself as a “ball of energy and pure talent,” a description anyone who has seen him perform would find hard to dispute.

When asked about what fuels such a dynamic and multi-faceted career, his answer is simple yet profound:
“I am a creative Dalubuhle. My name represents me, as its meaning says.”

This connection to his identity is the core of his artistry. He carries the “Good Beauty” not just as a label, but as a mission—to bring something beautiful and impactful to every stage he graces and every character he embodies.

With a resume that belies his youth and a level of commitment that marks him as a veteran, Dalubuhle is more than just a promising new actor, he is a burgeoning creative force, a testament to the rich talent emerging from Bulawayo, and undoubtedly an artist to watch as he continues to learn, grow, and develop his unmistakable craft.
