HARARE – In a significant public statement, celebrated Zimbabwean rapper Holy Ten has broken his social media silence, issuing a sweeping apology and declaring a new chapter focused on personal and artistic rebirth.
The artist, whose real name is Mukudzei Chitsama, released a detailed press statement titled “Apology, Reflection, and Renewal,” marking his official return to the public eye after what he described as a period in a “very dark place.”
In a move that has captured national attention, Holy Ten began by extending a formal apology to the highest offices in the land.
“I would like to begin by extending my deepest and most sincere apologies to the Government of Zimbabwe and His Excellency, the President, Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, for any statements or actions made prior to my rehabilitation that may have caused offense, misrepresentation, or disrepute,” the musician stated.
The rapper also directed his apology to his fans, wife, and in-laws, candidly admitting that his past behavior had caused pain and embarrassment. He expressed profound gratitude for the “patience and love” shown to him during his time away from the spotlight.
Now, Holy Ten asserts he is in a “season of healing, learning, and rebuilding.” With a new management team and a refreshed perspective, the hitmaker says his focus is squarely on creating music with “purpose, integrity, and accountability,” signaling a clear departure from past controversies.
The statement concludes with the artist’s commitment to positive change, leaving fans anticipating a refocused and reborn Holy Ten, ready to rebuild his legacy through his craft.
