In a vibrant call to action, the community of Pumula North is set to host a “Sports for Breast Cancer” awareness campaign, uniting fitness and health education in the ongoing fight against the disease.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, 25th October 2025, at the Pumula North Community Grounds from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
This community-driven initiative aims to raise awareness and foster support through a dynamic lineup of activities designed for all ages. Participants can look forward to an energetic session of Zumba and aerobics, alongside various sports exhibitions.
Beyond the physical activities, the event will offer crucial health services, including on-site health checks and counselling services, providing valuable resources and support to attendees.
The campaign’s powerful message is clear:
“Together, let’s raise awareness and support the ongoing fight against breast cancer because every voice and action counts.”
In a symbolic gesture of solidarity, community members and participants are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for those affected by breast cancer.
This event promises to be more than just a morning of sports; it is a vital platform for education, early detection advocacy, and community bonding for a critical cause. It underscores the importance of a proactive approach to health and the power of collective action.
Join the community for a morning of movement, health, and hope as Pumula North stands together in pink.
