HARARE – A major property belonging to Prophet Walter Magaya’s Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries is scheduled to be auctioned after the High Court issued a writ of execution against the popular clergyman’s organization.
The property, Stand 168 of Prospect in Waterfalls, is a 3.84-hectare estate that features a four-star standard hotel, several cluster houses, lodges, and a stadium. The court-ordered sale, under Case Number SH3294/25, was initiated following a successful legal application by Chinese national Li Xiu Yun.
“The property comprises a hotel facility estimated to be of four-star standard with ancillary facilities, several cluster houses or lodges, and a stadium, all of which have made it a notable development in the neighbourhood,” read court records detailing the execution.
The impending auction represents a significant financial and legal challenge for PHD Ministries, which has seen substantial expansion under Prophet Magaya’s leadership through various property and business ventures.
The court has now granted the applicant permission to execute the sale to recover debts owed by the ministry.
