Bulawayo- Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a 40-year-old man was discovered with a deep head wound at Nguboyenja early Thursday morning.
The Deputy Press and Public Relations Officer, Assistant Inspector Thandekile Ndlovu, confirmed the incident, identifying the deceased as Clever Maromo of Nguboyenja.
According to the report, the victim’s body was discovered at around 6:50AM on 21 August 2025, by a 38-year-old local resident who was on his way to work.
“The body was found lying opposite Sotshangane Flats, near the intersection of Ngcebetsha Road and Luveve Road traffic lights”.
“Upon examination by the police, a deep cut was observed on the back of the deceased’s head. The body was taken to United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) for postmortem,” said Inspector Thandekile Ndlovu.
