Highlanders FC and FC Platinum played to a 1-1 draw in a Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League Match Day 11 encounter at Barbourfields Stadium last Sunday, with both sides settling for a point apiece.

Bosso started the game strongly and took the lead as early as the 7th minute through Mason Mushore, who capitalized on an early chance to give the home crowd something to cheer about. However, FC Platinum hit back in the 22nd minute when Devine Mhindirira found the equalizer, ensuring the visitors went into halftime level.

Despite a lively second half, neither side could find the winner, and the match ended with the points shared. The result keeps Highlanders in 4th position on the log with 20 points, trailing league leaders Mwos by 5 points. FC Platinum remains in 8th place with 15 points.

Former PSL Champions, Chicken Inn FC secured a 4-2 win against Kwekwe United, with Brighton Makopa delivering an outstanding performance by netting all four goals for the Gamecocks.

Newly promoted side Scottland FC achieved a significant 2-0 victory over reigning champions Simba Bhora, with former Manica Diamonds dangerman Michael Taper grabbing all goals for the Scott Sakupwanya bankrolled side.

Triangle United continued their impressive form with a 2-0 win over Dynamos FC.

Saturday’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matches were characterized by a series of draws.

MWOS and TelOne managed to find the net twice, resulting in a balanced 2-2 draw.

GreenFuel and Manica Diamonds played out to a dull goalless draw, with both teams unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

Caps United and Herentals played out to a 1-all draw, as each side managed to breach the other’s defense once.

Ngezi Platinum and ZPC Kariba also drew two-all in an exciting encounter.

Bikita Minerals and Yadah found the back of the net once, resulting in a 1-all draw sharing a point apiece.
