- Mujuru left a note in IsiNdebele, expressing his feelings towards his wife and her alleged lover, stating he was granting them “freedom and joy” while insinuating that they had conspired against him.
- When found, Mujuru was hanging from a garage beam with a white electric cable tied around his neck, his feet touching the ground.
- His attire included a grey woollen hat, a pink/reddish track bottom, and a white T-shirt.

- A search of Mujuru’s possessions revealed a Vivo cellphone, matches, cigarettes, and Rufedo paracetamol pills.
- He had a laceration on his right cheek, suggesting a possible struggle.
