A devastating accident occurred near Jamuja Police Camp in Kariba this afternoon, leaving several passengers seriously injured.
A commuter omnibus, traveling from Kariba Hospital to Nyamhunga township, was involved in the crash, but the exact number of injured individuals has not been confirmed.
Upon arrival at the scene, multiple ambulances were seen transporting the injured to Kariba Hospital for medical attention. The extent of the injuries and potential fatalities have not been officially confirmed.
The cause of the accident is currently unknown and is under investigation. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
“Our thoughts are with the injured and their families during this difficult time,” said a police official who attended the scene.
