Man Arrested for Killing Wife Over Infidelity Allegations

A 42-year-old man, Tinei Matonho, has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife, Espina Nhambuka, 45, following an argument over infidelity in Triangle, Chiredzi.

National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the incident, saying,

“We can confirm that Tinei Matonho was arrested in connection with a case of murder after he stabbed his wife Espina Nhambuka on the elbow following a heated argument over infidelity.”

The victim was taken to Collin Suanders Hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries on admission.

In a separate incident, Siphilelinkosi Ngwenya, 30, was arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing Nkosilamandla Ngwenya, 30, once in the stomach with an okapi knife over a stolen cell phone at Zinyangeni Business Centre, Nkayi.

In another case, Tenziwashe Ndlovu was arrested in Kwekwe for allegedly killing Everest Ncube, 35, by hitting him once on the head with a stick over an undisclosed issue at Unity Mine.

Commissioner Nyathi urged individuals to resolve disputes peacefully, saying, “We urge people to find amicable solutions to their problems without resorting to violence, which often leads to devastating consequences.”
