MY FIRST SCHOOL..
It’s Insukamini Primary School. The school my grandmother took me to and which is also located in the same area (Njube) where she resided. I later transferred to Tohwe Primary.
MY FIRST MUSIC HERO…
As an artist and producer, l listen to multiple genres. Of all the musicians I’ve listened to in my life, I would like to give respect to Yvonne Chakachaka, Lucky Dube, Mafikizolo, Chiwoniso, and Lovemore Majaivana. However, my first music hero since childhood till now is Bhekumuzi Luthuli. He was a prominent maskandi artist and my favorite song from him is titled “Imlanjwana”
MY FIRST BEST FRIEND…
It was and still is Maqhawenkosi Mkandla. We’ve been friends for at least 19 years now and he is the one who is always motivating me to continue doing music
MY FIRST TIME RECORDING…
I still remember that day very well. I had written my song and produced my beat. What was left was just the studio session. I went to TRB Music Studio at Mpopoma. My first time stepping in the booth, l was very nervous. My friends were sitting there watching me sing. When we finished recording, the producer couldn’t believe that it was my first time. My friends were impressed and from that day l realized that l had no reason to fear as l have an army behind me that is ever supporting what I’m doing…
MY FIRST CHILDHOOD MEMORY…
It was the 2001 winter season and I was 3 years old. I was with my mother at Erenkini. We were waiting for a bus that was taking the Filabusi route. It was cloudy ⛅ and the clouds were moving fast. By then I wasn’t realizing that the clouds were moving. I thought that the tower lights were falling on us. Usually, when clouds are moving fast, tall objects may seem to be moving too.(kkk that’s my first childhood memory)
MY FIRST JOB…
It was back in 2018 just months after writing my A’level exams. My uncle was working for a tiling company (Richard’s Tiles) and at that time l did not have a job. So one day l told him l would be glad if he pulled some strings for me since there were no vacancies. Two weeks later, I got the job and on my first day we traveled to Gwanda to tile a Zinara building 🏢.
MY FIRST HEARTBREAK…
It was in 2015 when I was doing my O-level .There was this girl, Zanele Ngwenya who l was doing extra lessons with. She was so beautiful and her voice sounded like a choir of angels.(Kkkk) She had a beautiful smile and she was just perfect. We got so close to an extent that people thought we were in love. As for me, I was deeply in love with her but did not know if she felt the same way about me. I was scared to tell how l felt about her because I didn’t know how she was going to respond. Then one day I was like no let me just let it out. I told them how I felt about her and she said she would think about it. Five days later she told me that she had a boyfriend and she didn’t wanna break his heart ♥. She gave me a long hug and kissed me on my forehead before she turned around and left. I couldn’t eat or sleep and even at school couldn’t concentrate. I had never felt so much pain in my whole life. Later on we ended up dating. She is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever fallen in love with… (😌)
MY FIRST CHILDHOOD IDOL…
I grew up in rural areas where entertainment is very limited. The only sources of entertainment that we had were radios and school sports days. As for me, at home, we had a radio and we would play many different artists like Indolwane, Macheso, Allen Ndoda, and many more. There is only one artist who’s been my favorite and my idol since I was young. The late Bhekumuzi Luthuli has always been and will always be my idol. I would play his music 24/7 whenever I was alone back in the day.
Shiz moz writes his songs me and even produces. His music is available on YouTube and some songs are available on all streaming services
