THE United African National Council (UANC) Vice President returned home from the UANC’s 2023 election launch at Muziti, Rusape this past Saturday to find his mother, Rachel Nyathi, had succumbed to diabetes.
The tragedy devastated Dr. Gwinyai Muzorewa, the UANC President who poured a bowl of condolence message to the Nyathi family.
“THE UANC is saddened by the passing on of the mother of our Vice President Chief Bekezela Nyathi. May our heartfelt condolences console the Nyathi family during this mourning season.”
“Mother Nyathi has blessed THE UANC by giving us her son Chief Bekezela Nyathi. Our prayer is ‘Mother Nyathi, depart in peace to the eternal Heavens.” Said Dr. Muzorewa.
Chief Bekezela Nyathi, the son to the late and aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for Bubi constituency, Matabeleland North received the tragic news as he returned from THE UANC’s successful 2023 election launch at Muziti in Rusape earlier on Friday.
The burial takes place tomorrow at iNyathi (Matikiti).
The Death of a mother leaves a huge void that no one can fulfill and blights one’s life.
The UANC Vice President described his mother as a loving and caring person. The deceased’s health deteriorated at a ripe age of 75 and is survived by eight children, twenty five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
