Zimbabwe’s Premier Soccer League approaches week 8 this weekend and Harare giants CAPS United Football Club have gained momentum.
There are some interesting fixtures lined up for the weekend with CAPS United hosting Bulawayo fading giants Highlanders Football Club at the giant National Sports Stadium in Harare this Sunday.
CAPS United have already started their ‘intimidating tactics’. This morning the Green Machine posed a threat in form of a so-called ‘Brotherly Advice’ towards Bosso on their social media page.
They advised Bosso to give away the match for a walk over to CAPS United than to travel to Harare and be humiliated by 4-0.
CAPS United FC were thrashed by Manica Diamonds by 6-2 in a week 6 fixture before they vented their anger on Whawha FC in which they won by 6-0.
The statement reads,
“Now that fuel is too expensive. Its not a bad idea to just stay home and give away 3 points and 3 goals as a walk over. Than travel 440km and lose 4-0
Save fuel
Save hotel bills
Save allowances
Save the embarrassment
This is a brotherly advice…”
This season CAPS United F.C have been nicknamed the “Old People’s Home” because they recruited the old horses back into the field. They signed players which were offloaded by other teams in the country.
The ‘Green Machine’ have invited their loyal fans to go and watch the match. At least 62 000 fans are expected to be in National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Zvishavane will be the battlefield for two platinum miners. The well resourced platinum teams will lock horns at Mandava Stadium in the mine town, FC Platinum will play against Ngezi Platinum Stars F.C. This will rekingle a rematch of the 2021 Chibuku Super Cup final.
Meanwhile the ambitious side Bulawayo Chiefs F.C seek to go back to winning ways as they host Harare City F.C at home, Luveve Stadium on Sunday.
Manica Diamonds F.C are expected to continue with their fine form as they clash against Cranborne Bullets away from home.
