TWITTER BLUE USERS CAN NOW UPLOAD 2HOUR VIDEOS

Twitter users with verified accounts have been given the privilege to upload videos on the social media platform as big as 8 gigabytes.

This translate to a maximum of two hour video.

The revelations were made by the Twitter owner, billionaire Elon Musk, in a tweet on his handle.

“Twitter blue verified subscribers can now upload 2 hour videos (8GB).”Musk said in a statement

The new development by is one of the reforms he had promised to bring to the social instant messaging media platform.

This will see videos as big as 8Gigabytes being able to be uploaded to the platform only by Twitter Blue handlers.

Twitter Blue is a premium subscription based service offered by Twitter to it’s users. Users with this subscription have access to exclusive features that are not found on non-subscribers such ability to undo tweets, an ad-free experience and additional customization options.

Before the move, Twitter users were only allowed to upload videos lasting for a maximum of two minutes and a size of between 20 seconds long with a 32×32 pixels by 1920×1200 pixels.

This comes at a time when the billionaire stepped just down from the helm of the company as CEO last Friday and roped in a new woman leader to the hot seat, the former NBCUniversal Chairperson Linda Yaccarino.
