CHINHOYI-The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) members are alleged to have violated a Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) meeting.
This is said to have happened at the Party’s Chinhoyi offices on Sunday while the Party’s President Douglas Mwonzora was addressing people in the area.
In an interview with Zim GBC News, Chengetai Guta a Public Relations officer for MDC said that he does not know how many people attacked his party members but they were members of CCC who injured two of their senior members.
“Not sure how many exactly, but around 20. They beat up our people including 2 female MPs. Yes people got injured and we filed reports at Chinhoyi police,”
It is alleged that the CCC members injured elderly people who had attended this gathering as well as Moeketsi and Chihururu.
It is claimed CCC members have the same tendency of being violent as they are said to have attacked ZANU-PF members which ended in one of them hospitalised.
The same acts of violence have also been perpetrated by ZANU-PF supporters in different places around the country.
One needs to notice that it’s only those that are at the bottom who fight amongst themselves, but they are the ones that suffer as the lives of those in the Parliament and even the President himself and opposition leaders will be shaking hands and eating together while the members will lose their lives or become maimed.
Independent Member of Parliament for Norton Themba Mliswa once told the people of Norton that they should not fight against each other as they have the rest of their lives together and it will be worthless fighting for an MP who doesn’t even know them.

You should not fight against your neighbors so that you live in harmony.
