Traditional Bulawayo Giants, Highlanders Football Club joined the nation and the world in commemorating Valentine’s day by reducing the prices of their replicas
The revelations were made by the clubs’ spokesperson Nozibelo Maphosa to Zim GBC News who stated that they implored this initiative as a good gesture of paying tribute to love and Ubuntu.

“As a club yelizwe lonke we decided to acknowledge the month of love through selling replicas to couples at a discount price, we decided to do so in a bid to express our love to our loyal fans whilst also broadening our fan base outreach program so we would like to advise and encourage our fans to celebrate love Highlanders way through buying their black and white and even red replicas.”Maphosa said.
Highlanders football club has over the years embraced the culture of also raising revenues via the selling of merchandise. They sell club shirts in their traditional black and white colors but off late have also introduced colors such as red, paper-mint green and white. Tshilamoya are also into selling branded canvas shoes.

Valentine’s day is celebrated annually on the 14th of February which originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian matrys named Saint Valentine and later became a traditional day of celebrating romance and love of partners or couples
