DUO NABBED FOR POSSESSING “BURGLARY” TOOLS

Police in Bulawayo have arrested two city men for being found in possession of what appears like tools of the “burglary” trade.

Bupenyu Ncube aged 35 and Michael Sibanda aged 39 were found in possession of three screw drivers, angle grinder with a long red cable, a Ceedye torch, two Pliers, heavy duty eighteen Spanner, blue Rope, a Crow bar and seven Grinding discs stashed in two satchels.

According to the police the pair did not give satisfactory answers as to why they were in possession of such tools.

The state’s case is that Detectives from the Criminal investigation Department Homicide Bulawayo received information that the accused persons were planning to rob an identified establishment located in the Belmont industrial sites.

The detectives found the accused sitting in a red Volks Wagon GTI golf 5, after searching the Suspects police recovered the tools of the”burglary” trade inside the vehicle.

The accused persons appeared before magistrate Nomagugu Maphosa on the 14th of January 2023 and they were remanded in custody till 4th of February 2023.- ZIM GBC NEWS
