Upcoming hip-hop artist Dumisani Dumbura who goes by the stage name D Craze has announced plans to release what will become his first EP (Extended Play).

The EP is titled ‘Ithemba’ and the inspiration behind it is the hardships he has gone through in trying to make it as a recording artist.

“I have suffered a lot of discrimination as an upcoming artist. We as freshmen, were barely given opportunities to record our music in proper recording studios but we kept on hoping we would be given a chance one day. I have always hoped that things will get better, thus making me name the album ‘Ithemba’ meaning Hope”, said D craze.

D craze in collaboration with other artists runs a studio from which the Ithemba EP is being recorded.

He disclosed to ZIM GBC NEWS that he has been in the game since 2013 and he draws inspiration from South Africans Stilo Magolide and the late Ricky Rick.

He has shared the stage with several local music luminaries at events such as the National youth day 2021, the Friday late night sessions at Art gallery and at Malayka.

“Ithemba is made up of five tracks with guest appearances from Realince and Emkay”, D craze also said.
