All-rounder Ryan Burl inspired the Zimbabwe National team to a four wicket win in a nerve racking T20 International series decider that was played at Harare Sports Club in the capital.
Burl was deceivingly voted Man Of The Match achieving that feat two days after winning the same accolade in the first T20 International. Burl eventually captured the Man of The Series gong.
On Sunday, Ryan Burl scored thirty runs not out after facing only eleven balls, his bowling figures were also impressive bagging two wickets for twenty-eight runs.
The series produced predictable outcomes with the chasing team emerging victors.
In the first game, Zimbabwe fielded first and won the match by five wickets and on Saturday, the Chevrons batted first with the Irish ending up victors by six wickets.
Zimbabwe and Ireland now move to One Day Internationals. The three match series starts this Wednesday in Harare Sports Club.
