Newly promoted Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Simba Bhora are taking advantage of the financial challenges facing Bulawayo Chiefs. The Shamva based outfit has so far captured the signature of twenty one year old attacking midfielder Hughe Chikosa from the Bulawayo based ‘ninjas’.
Simba Bhora, are also interested in want away Bulawayo Chiefs players, captain Malvin Mkolo (26) and midfielder Arthur Musiyiwa (27).
Mkolo has two Zimbabwe International caps in which he starred for the Warriors in two matches at the COSAFA Cup in 2021 versus Senegal and Namibia at Nelson Mandela Bay in South Africa. The departing Bulawayo captain is a defender who is currently also under the radar of Highlanders and Chicken Inn.
Bhora’s other target Arthur Musiyiwa is an attacking midfielder, however, he is yet to earn a national team call-up. Musiyiwa like Mkolo is also being sought after by Bosso and the Game Cocks.
Speaking to ZIM GBC NEWS, Simba Bhora’s secretary general Taurai Janhi revealed that Chikosa’s move to Mashonaland Central is a done deal, with Mkolo and Musiyiwa’s chances of being under the tutelage of Tonderai Ndiraya at a promising 90%.
” We are here to stay in the PSL. We have lured Talent Chawapiwa from South Africa, captured Partson Jaure from Dynamos and also captured Ngezi Platinum’s Keith Murera,” Janhi said.
Simba Bhora is a football club that was established in 2008 in Mashonaland Province. They are currently renovating Wadzanai Stadium in Shamva a facility they will be using in PSL.
