Hairdressers and beauty therapists are recording brisk business as the count down to Christmas continues.
Forget that most Zimbabweans are suffering from the effects of a poor economy when it comes to making themselves beautiful.
Our compatriots go out of their way to spend on hair, nails and facials.
“These days kubusy laa njengoba lawe ubona kugcwele so, before ifestive season ifika bekusenzakala ukuthi ilanga liphele ngingela client but these days wonke umuntu wants to look good ngeChristmas”,said Kudzie a hairdresser from a City Salon.
Zim GBC NEWS also established from one Sibusiso that the current rush to hairdressers is due to the fact Salons tend to increase prices after the 22nd of every December.
It’s not only the salons that are recording brisk business, even those that work from home.
“I had to go as early as 5 am today so that l could get my hair done for umtshado engiya kuwo kusasa ngoba umuntu ongilukileyo ebelabantu abafika 10 obekumele abaluke lamuhla”, MaMpofu told Zim GBC NEWS
