Comedian and musician Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima has confirmed the end of his marriage to his wife, Mai Nga.
The couple, once seen as a perfect match, have separated following months of rising tension and unresolved issues with allegations now at the center of the drama.
Kapfupi did not hold back in recent statements, hinting strongly that Mai Nga was at fault.
The comedian claims to have solid proof of what went wrong. In local slang, he insisted,
“I have the full proof, ndine ma V11,” suggesting he is ready to reveal evidence, possibly in court.
Kapfupi also revealed that the man allegedly involved has threatened legal action against him.
Friends of the couple say the marriage collapsed under the weight of several problems, with trust issues being the final blow.
Kapfupi born to a Malawian father who wanted him to be a tailor became a household name through comedy and drama series like Notorious Kapfupi and What Goes Around Comes Around.
