South African Woman Arrested for Allegedly Dismembering Husband in Limpopo

TZANEEN, Limpopo – Police in Limpopo have arrested a woman for the alleged murder and dismemberment of her 42-year-old husband in Morutji village outside Tzaneen.

The victim, who was reported missing last week, was last seen at his home before allegedly being taken away by unknown individuals in an unidentified vehicle.

According to police reports, his body was later discovered in a shallow grave within the yard of his residence, with several body parts missing and the remains covered in a plastic bag.

“The dismembered parts of the 42-year-old man had been buried in a shallow grave in his yard,” police confirmed in a statement detailing the grim discovery.

The suspect, whose identity has not been released pending formal charges, remains in police custody as investigations continue.
