Rising Star Kul_em Aims to Open Doors for Zimbabwean Artists

A talented young musician from Bulawayo, has been making waves in the music industry since he started creating music at the age of 14, born Michael Changunduma.

Kul_em grew up in Cowdray Park and dropped out of high school in 2022 to pursue music full-time.

Kul_em’s ultimate goal is not just to become a famous artist but to use his platform to open doors for emerging artists in his city.

“I want to open new doors for my people and change the way we view the world,” he says, highlighting his commitment to giving back to his community.

My first song is tittled “Hiphop lives on”, which was produced by Troy larmain under Big Part of The Process Records
Kul_em has already collaborated with notable artists such as A Z I E L, Maask Djy, and Nipsybella on his recent E.P, “Wavey”.

He is also working on a joint E.P with Maask Djy. He hopes to work with international artists like Holy Ten, Nasty C, and King 98 in the future.

Signed to Muzibits Entertainment, Kul_em has been learning the ins and outs of the music industry. He acknowledges that making music is just one aspect of the business.

“The industry is about who you rub shoulders with every day,” he says, emphasizing the importance of networking and building relationships.

With his talent, determination, and passion for music, Kul_em is set to make a lasting impact in the industry.

As he continues to hone his craft and build his brand, one thing is certain – Kul_em is a name to watch out for.

Kul_em’s journey is a testament to his hard work and dedication. As he navigates the complex world of music, he remains focused on his goals.

“Presenting yourself as a useful tool to someone just so they can also be useful to you is no child’s play… I’m out every day learning how to make my tongue sweet enough for the right people,” he says.
