The academic future of thousands of Zimbabwean students hangs in the balance this week as the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) November 2025 examinations officially commence.
The national exam body has declared itself fully prepared for the crucial session, which marks a pivotal moment for both Ordinary and Advanced Level learners.
Today, Ordinary Level candidates will face a double-header: Mathematics Paper 1 in the morning session, followed by English Paper 1 in the afternoon. These two core subjects are critical for most students’ future educational and career paths.
Simultaneously, Advanced Level candidates begin their own marathon, starting with History Paper 1 and Agriculture Engineering Paper 1.
With ZIMSEC confirming that all logistical arrangements are in place, the focus now shifts entirely to the examination halls. Across the country, students are putting the final touches on their revision, relying on months of preparation to see them through this defining period.
As the pens hit the paper, a nation watches and waits, hoping that the hard work of its youth will indeed translate into the outstanding success they deserve.
